Clinical Guides

Clinical Guides are state-based clinical monographs for therapists working with various clinical presentations and psychodynamic processes.

These guides are short, authored clinical texts. Each one presents a clear therapeutic position, developed from practice and written for clinicians working at depth. These are finite statements that can be read, returned to, and cited over time. The emphasis is on clarity of thinking.

Each guide:

  • Draws upon my clinical work

  • Advances a single, coherent clinical model

  • Is written as a complete text, not a sequence

  • Assumes clinical experience rather than instructing from basics

  • Sits alongside ongoing reflective work

Forthcoming guides

Additional guides will be published here over time.

Each will follow the same principles:

  • A defined clinical question

  • A bounded theoretical position

  • A complete, non-iterative text
